More Than A Glimmer | Canvas On Board

During lockdown, Bob Barker started working on very large canvases and this piece is one such example. Framed in textured black radiata pine and mount, this hand-varnished canvas on board edition is the recognised standard medium for Bob’s limited edition artworks which makes it perfect as a start or addition to your Bob Barker collection. 

The beautiful landscape is unique to Bob's work because he has depicted trees across the foreground and background rather than letting the horizon fade into nothingness. The effect is an optical illusion whereby the glimmering sunlight casts shadows through a grassy meadow and bounces off the trees to give the impression of hazy rainfall and dewy leaves.
