Featured on a cover of Rolling Stone, this photo of David Bowie from the set of The Man Who Fell To Earth in 1975 became an iconic image and reflects the period from 1975-1976 when he was playing the persona character of The Thin White Duke. Now depicted as a "vinylgraph" by the Bisaillon Brothers, it features luminous colours applied abstractly across a rounded resin board, offset by bold typography and coding.
Epitomising the their interest in mid-20th century pop culture and 21st century technology, the Pop Collection sees the brothers combine their techniques and philosophies in a vibrant mosaic of time. While Jeffrey abstractly applies vibrant acrylic paint, Michael designs a unique trinary code for each piece. The bright colours of the original artwork combine with its serene resin texture to add a vibrant and modern splash to any home.
