Castle Fine Art, ICC is privileged to bring you an exclusive exhibition of brand new original works by Hamish Blakely, entitled 'Simple Pleasures'.

Van Gogh said "what is done in love is well done", and this is what we are fortunate to see at work in Hamish's new collection.

Some of Hamish’s most evocative paintings are collaborations between artist and model, and it is the complete alignment of Hamish and his muse, Gail, that breathes love and intimacy into his figurative paintings.

Hamish's portrayal of light against texture, his mastery of technique and composition, combined with his ability to evoke a mood that we can share in, all assure his place as a modern master of figurative art.
